Carpet Company x Vans Skate Half Cab
Baltimore-based Carpet Company has teamed up with Vans Skateboarding. The collaboration will involve the revival of the Skate Cab 4 model, famously worn by Vans legend Steve Caballero, along with new colorways of the Skate Half Cab.
Taking direction from one of Cabellero’s skate deck designs featuring a Chinese dragon, which is said to be inspired by takeout boxes, Capet Company brings faux reptilian skin to Skate Half Cab colorways.
Additional shared features include Carpet Company “C Star” logos on the forefoot and outsole and Arabic text that translates to “Carpet Company Sucks” in various spots, a little self-deprecating humor from brand co-founders Ayman and Osama Abdeldayem.
The Black Marshmallow colorway of the Skate Half Cab will be available in-store starting 07/25/2024 and online later.
